Lynsey Tait
Fiddle
Originally from Edinburgh, Lynsey moved to Glasgow to study Scottish Music. During her studies she also spent some time in Limerick studying Irish music. In 2006 she graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with a BA Scottish Music (Honours) and became a full time musician.
Lynsey has toured throughout Europe and as far afield as Japan. She regularly plays with a number of ceilidh bands and also with Irish band The Jakes.
Lynsey is a highly experienced teacher. She currently teaches regular classes for Glasgow Fiddle Workshop, Arran Fiddle Club, RSAMD Junior Academy and RSAMD Musicworks. She also teaches private pupils and can be contacted directly regarding lessons.
